Really Awesome Mexican Dishes
Mexican food is certainly among my favourite food of the world, I have really not tried something that I do not like from the country as of yet. I learnt how to make many dishes when out on my Mexico holidays and here is what I would serve up at a dinner party if I was doing a Mexican theme.
Chilaquiles
These are pretty much nachos but the American cheese and beans are taken away and you have nice toasted tortillas covered in either green or red salsa ( I have seen a mix of the two) with shredded chicken and sour cream. This serves as a really good appetiser for a Mexican meal.
Nachos
For the people that like their less traditional nachos I would serve up the Tex-Mex variety. These consist of beef, plenty of cheese, beans, guacamole, sour cream and tomato salsa. I personally like to make this one as spicy as I can as I love my spicy foods.
Fajitas
Although these are not very often found in Mexico they are a great Mexican dish and I would most certainly serve these up for dessert. These consist of a warm tortilla wrap with chicken or steak or seafood (whatever you want really). They are more often than not mixed with peppers and onions and served with guacamole.
Orange flavoured fried bananas is the last thing on the list and this is because you cannot have a Mexican night without A Mexican dessert.
